Mendez goes six strong in debut as Marlins down Phils

Jayson Werth's RBI single accounted for the Phillies' offense, as Philadelphia lost its second straight following a five-game win streak.

Brandon Roy Favorite to Win 2007 NBA Rookie of the Year
